Selectrite Hardware Ltd is a family run business, co-founded by product engineer, Mark Townend, and now run by his daughter, Charlotte Townend. With over 35 years of experience, Selectrite specialises in the manufacture of door hardware products.

We manufacture the only British-made door coordinator which holds relevant fire safety and quality certifications worldwide. With our team of expert engineers we can create bespoke products to include within your portfolio. We provide specialist expertise on engineering requirements of the design, material choices, fabrication of the product and finishing options.

MK2 FIRE DOOR COORDINATOR

The MK2 door coordinator ensures that self-closing timber or metal double doors shut in the correct sequence, without fail. If the double doors do not shut correctly, this can create a gap between the two doors, allowing fire to spread. The product is therefore an integral product to ensure fire safety within all buildings.

The MK2 door coordinator has world leading certification for its product group. This includes CE and UKCA marking, UL listing and ANSI.

Furthermore, it has been extensively fire tested, over and above requirements. This breadth of certification and testing ensures the MK2 can be specified on projects worldwide.
